

Another Country Productions burst onto the Boston Theater scene with SLAMBoston, their innovative 10 minute play competition. Now, in addition to producing their popular Slam series, they offer classes in the Meisner technique, multicultural theater education and a yearly full-length production, all of which challenge and inspire audiences through a marriage of social justice and theater.
Our First Feature Film: Another Country Films is now in pre-production for Saint John the Divine in Iowa by Lyralen Kaye. Synopsis: Reverend Alexandra McCartney is a progressive Episcopal priest who has fought for social justice throughout her career. But when gay marriage passes in Iowa and her daughter comes home demanding to be married to her way out, butch girlfriend in the conservative church Reverend Alexandra loves, the Reverend learns it's easier to live up to your values when you're just the minister, not the mother.
